Global Rolling Peace

A Practical Vision of Peace

Our own sense of inner peace may be the most valuable human ability that we can cultivate. Greater inner peace supports each of us in our daily lives and especially in the face of personal, business and global shocks, difficulties and dilemmas. A deeper sense of inner peace is the stable path of purpose and meaning.

The Larger Vision

Picture an overflowing reservoir made from tiny droplets of rain. We know that each tiny droplet of rain can fill the reservoir to overflowing. Each tiny droplet of water nurtures rainforests as well as the crops in every farmer’s field, down to the beautiful plants in each garden or the houseplants in your home.

Similar to a reservoir of rainwater, every moment of ‘inner peace’ each of us experiences internally, is an unseen resonance and resource that we share. Over time we can compound these life enhancing moments of inner peace for our own flourishing, for those closest to us and even out into the wider world.

Discover your own inner peace – also valued by martial artists.
Know that your inner peace is a key life quality.
Share your inner peace… this happens naturally.

I know that Greater Peace Globally can seem like an impossibly huge task but we owe it to ourselves, our children, grandchildren and future generations to explore this true quality we call inner peace. I will explain the exact reasons and steps as we go.

Where do we begin?

  1. Our first hurdle is our brain
Neuroscience research tells us that the brain likes to conserve energy. This is why we can be reluctant to give our attention to something new, that we ‘perceive’ as complicated, difficult or give up at the first sign of a seemingly insurmountable problem.

I have found that a very useful and truthful workaround is to treat whatever is new to me as simply an experiment, but more on that later.

  2. Doubt is second
“Is greater peace even possible”? YES it is. Studies show that measurable improvements have been recorded; it’s just that  each event came to an end.

  3. Feeling stressed?
I imagine some of you asking, “Sue, what do you want me to do…I’m already stretched?”
What if you knew that within minutes you could begin to experience for yourself the possibilities of enjoying a deeper level of peace. That you, would be the first beneficiary. This is because outer peace begins with a greater sense of our own inner peace first.

Imagine… Micro Habits of Rolling Peace Compounding Globally

24/7365 days and nights of the year. Billions of moments of inner peace continually being added to, moving as waves throughout each day, through each time zone and echoing around the world.

Early bird or night owl, no matter; somewhere in the world others will be joining you in your moments of inner peace.

New to inner peace? Then you may like to begin with seconds and that’s okay. Your whole being will guide you and you can find the simple details in the video below.

Maybe you live alone, or feel alone. It can be easy to underestimate the power of a single and seemingly isolated moment of inner peace. During your moments of inner peace any sense of being alone will begin to fade away.

Dedicated meditator?  Welcome! Your regular practice from 20 minutes at a time to over an hour will help strengthen the resonance. Thank you.

Is Prayer your heart felt method of finding greater inner peace?
A friend of mine values the quietness she finds in a place of peaceful worship wherever she goes. In her words “…to stop, and peacefully empty my thoughts.” You may like to designate a Sacred Space of Peace within your home. In this way greater inner peace becomes a living process.

As you commune with your sense of the Divine know that you are spreading outer peace . Thank you for your prayers that nurture the unified state of peace.

Perhaps nature, your pets, your garden, your art or your hobby are where you experience a deeper sense of inner peace.

All peace weavers are welcome. Your heartfelt sincerity of “intent” is all that you need to begin to contribute to a growing reservoir of peace.

Below you will find:

Results of Consciousness Experiments / Studies

The Global Consciousness Project  has 65 instruments on all populated continents and in nearly every time zone, to study indications of the subtle reach of human consciousness in the physical world on a global scale.

Messages from Water. Our intentions have a life of their own. The photographs below are from the work of Masaru Emoto and his Messages from Water experiments. Emoto found that water exposed to positive words and intentions formed beautiful, symmetrical crystalline structures when the water was frozen, while water exposed to negative words and intentions formed disorganized, asymmetrical structures. Veda Austin also demonstrates similar results. These experiments offer visual images of how our inner states have wider implications.

Peace in a Historical Context
We need to acknowledge the elephant in the room, it is an inescapable fact that humanity has clearly had an ‘on/off’ relationship with peace. Beyond the rabbit warren of reasons, I suspect that the biggest issue is the way we have defined peace… “Peace as the opposite of war”.

I believe that True Peace actually transcends our dualistic way of looking at our world. Black or white, up, down, left, right. We filter so much of our world through the language of opposites. On one level this makes communicating easier but will always be limited by concepts, constructs and fluctuating contexts.

For our unified purpose of PEACE I wonder if it would be useful to distinguish the difference between ‘war’ and its factual opposite as ‘exhaustion’. I say exhaustion because whether victor or vanquished both sides suffer exhaustion.

War Vs. Peace has been the radical option and unimaginably costly in terms of suffering. I appreciate that this is an understatement, but this is where words often fail.

We can see from the historical context that the polarisations between war and peace still have us searching in the 21st Century for a humane alternative.

“Where there is no vision, the people perish”.
Proverbs 29:18

The Unified Field of Peace

From Local to Global

Now, even if you live alone or are isolated you can paradoxically still be a force to be reckoned with. I appreciate that this can sound incomprehensible until we look at the relationship between your own inner peace and …

The different definitions of Peace and why ‘Quality’ matters:

The Quality of Peace matters extraordinarily

We measure so many things by quality. A product, a creative work a service, a performance are just a few examples of how quality as a measure is important to us.

Transcendent Peace (Transcendent Peace transcends the limitations of duality)

Transcendent Peace. “Transcendent” because it stands beyond all of our human concepts and knowledge and just ‘is’.

I am suggesting that there is a marked qualitative difference between dualistic peace and Transcendent Peace. – think light-years of difference or more appropriately an entirely different dimension of peace.

This True Peace, that most of humanity intuitively seeks, is holistic, an unimaginable concept to our human mind and yet readily recognised by the human heart. Wordless… ever present and available to us 24/7 in our own moments of inner peace.

When we are open to this Transcendent Peace more often, a sense of Unity begins to light our way.

As you choose to develop your own sense of inner peace, know that in that moment you will be both adding to and tapping into a strengthening field of true peace.

• Join us quietly in your own way knowing that you can and are making a difference. The ever-present measure is every moment of inner peace that you feel within yourself.

• If in doubt, think of something that you appreciate. Even in difficulty there can be gratitude for bringing its opposite into our awareness and then the relief of letting go. Doubt and the need for certainty tend to be a more learned and left-brain function. Gratitude is inclusive and holistic as is awe, wonder and the heart felt appreciation of beauty. These aspects are associated more so with right brain function.

• As far as Global Rolling Peace is concerned there are no set times or events, although there may be pop-up experiences. Why is this? Whilst a personal ritual that sincerely evokes a deeper practice works well, larger regular events can become a formalism which can then be challenging to keep the freshness and vitality of true peace alive.

An easy way for you to experience for yourself an empty mind.

Begin with brief moments. This is a simple practice that over time offers an almost effortless doorway to greater inner piece.

From now on, know with every fiber of your being, that you can cultivate and contribute your moments of inner peace to a growing movement of Global Rolling Peace.

Always remember that you can make a difference.
